The Village of Lake Orion owns, operates, and maintains two cemeteries: Evergreen Cemetery and East Lawn Cemetery. Evergreen Cemetery is located in downtown Lake Orion and is no longer available for lot purchases and burials. East Lawn Cemetery is located on Orion Road.
The Office of the Village Clerk is responsible for the sale of cemetery lots, issuing deeds, and maintaining all cemetery records. Owners of cemetery lots may view lot and burial information free of charge after creating an online account, and others may purchase cemetery burial information for a fee by visiting the village's Cemetery Management Search online.
