How many gallons of water are in each unit and what is the rate per unit?

100 cubic feet of water contain 748 gallons. 100 cubic feet of water is $3.65 (effective:  7/1/17 - 6/30/18).

Can a home or business have a separate meter for a sprinkler system?

Yes, contact the Village water department for information and pricing.

How often are residents and business owners billed?
Quarterly bills are issued in January, April, July and October. If you do not receive a utility billing statement by the fifteenth of the month in January, April, July and October, please call the Village offices at 248-693-8391, extension 100.

When is a resident or business owner able to schedule an appointment?
The Village DPW is available for appointments from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made through the Village office during regular business hours: 248-693-8391, x. 100. Emergency water problems at any other time should be reported to the Village Police Department non-emergency number: 248-693-8321.

Does the Village have to go into a home or business to do a “Final Water Reading”?
No, it is not necessary for the Village to have access to the home to do a Final Water Read.

How do I schedule seasonal water on or off appointment?
Call the Village office at 248-693-8391, x. 100. The Village requests that someone be at the home to confirm the water service status.
