Unger Park occupies .91 acres off of Bellevue Street in the southwestern portion of the Village. It is part of University subdivision, and was designated “park” on the plat. It is somewhat oval in shape, with Bellevue on the east side and West Bellevue on the west. It is believed the park is named after Erv Unger, a Village President, in the 1940s.
There is a small parking area located on the east side of the park. The park features a playground, swings, picnic table, checkerboard table, bike rack, and benches.
Come out and enjoy our parks!!
