Atwater Park is a 3.14 acre neighborhood park located at the corner of Perry and Atwater Streets. It is comprised of thirteen lots in Perry’s Addition subdivision that were purchased by the Village in 1915 for less than $55 each, and is located in a single-family residential neighborhood.
This park has two distinct areas: ball fields and playground. There are two ball fields, used and partially maintained by the ball leagues that schedule games and practices here. There is no charge to leagues for use of the fields; reservation forms are available at the Village office. The playground has two play areas, benches, picnic tables, bike racks, swings, a basketball hoop, and a checkerboard table. In the winter months, weather permitting, there is an ice rink for skating.
